📥 How to Import External Flashcard Packs?

1. Get the data: Download or receive a flashcard pack file in an Easchi-compatible format created by someone else.
2. One-click import: Open the Easchi client, click the “Import” button, and select the corresponding flashcard pack file.
3. Start learning: After a successful import, the flashcard pack will be automatically synced to your learning library, and you can begin reviewing immediately.

To protect the copyright of knowledge creators and data security, Easchi employs the following management mechanisms for imported external flashcard packs:

1. Secure Password Protection

• Mechanism: If the flashcard pack was encrypted with protection during export, the system will prompt you to enter a password during import.
• Requirement: You must enter the correct password to successfully decrypt and load it into your core learning system.

2. Time-Based Validity (Expiration)

• Mechanism: Some flashcard packs with course attributes or time-sensitive content may have an expiration time set.
• Requirement: You can only study before the validity period ends. Once the flashcard pack expires, its content will be automatically locked or become inaccessible—please arrange your review schedule accordingly.

3. Read-Only Study Mode (Cannot Edit)

• Mechanism: Externally imported flashcard packs have copyright protection mode enabled by default.
• Requirement: After a successful import, you cannot edit, modify, or delete the original text and structure of the cards. This ensures the integrity of the knowledge content and the creator’s original logic, but you can still fully use Easchi’s memory algorithms for efficient review.
